Veteran’s Campaign Returns with “This Rides On Us” to Honor Service and Strengthen Community Connections

The return of our Oakland County’s “This rides on us”, which will highlight the free transportation services and other county services available to our Veterans, as well as hosting a special concert at Arts, Beats & Eats with a VIP concert experience for our Veterans on Sunday, Sept. 6, when 300 Veterans and family members will receive complimentary admission, reserved seating for Rumours, the acclaimed Fleetwood Mac tribute band, food and beverage vouchers, dedicated parking and shuttle service.  For more information go to info@artsbeatseats.com 

 Did you know a veteran can get a ride anywhere in Oakland County for Free. Veterans have been around the world fighting and protecting our freedom now it’s time for us to give them a ride anywhere in Oakland County that they want to go. 

Oakland County and Arts, Beats & Eats are continuing their mission to support local veterans through food assistance, transportation services and other essential resources.  

 Veterans will also be recognized during a special main stage ceremony honoring their service, featuring remarks from county leaders and a veteran representative.  

 Throughout the festival, Oakland County will host a veteran outreach booth showcasing support services, community resources and fundraising opportunities. Giveaways, informational materials and on-site staff will engage festivalgoers while raising awareness of the challenges and needs facing veterans across the county.  

 The initiative is made possible through a partnership among Oakland County, Arts, Beats & Eats and numerous community organizations, all working together to ensure local veterans feel valued, connected and supported.
